EasyJet holidays’ trade distribution manager Dominic Carrick has announced his departure from easyJet holidays.
He posted on LinkedIn that today (May 8) is his last day after four-and-a-half years with the operator and its trade sales team, dubbed ‘Team Orange’.
“It’s time to hang up the orange tux and shoes,” he wrote.
“I look back very fondly at what has been such an incredibly exciting journey with some fabulous colleagues whose creativity, tenacity and sheer work ethic has been inspiring.
“I’m proud to have been part of a team that really have established Team Orange as a force to be reckoned with in the trade sector of mainstream tour operating and I am certain easyJet holidays will continue to thrive!
“It’s merely au revoir and not goodbye as I look forward to my next exciting adventure within the industry.
“Thank you to all the travel agent partners and other suppliers for their support, humour and collaboration – I’m sure I will see you soon!”
Carrick joined easyJet holidays in 2021 as business development manager, after having worked for luxury tour operator If Only for 12 years.
He said joining the trade team in its early days had been “an exciting challenge” and he felt an “immense sense of pride” about what they have achieved together.
“Helping to establish and grow this brand within such a fiercely competitive B2B sector of the travel industry has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career,” he said.
“I’m extremely excited for what’s next, news of that in due course - but I’ll always be a huge cheerleader for Team Orange.”
