Havila Voyages unveils ‘book with confidence’ guarantee for passengers

Havila Voyages has become the latest travel company to launch a ‘book with confidence’ guarantee.

The Norwegian cruise line said the policy has been introduced to give its passengers “the greatest possible flexibility and security”.

Should flights be unexpectedly rescheduled or guests’ plans change, they can change their departure date up to 14 days before the start of their trip. This applies to new bookings made by June 30 and to departures up to December 31.

Re-bookings are possible for any available future departure.

Havila Voyages said it will not levy any fuel surcharges or charge additional costs that are within the company’s control to ensure “the price customers see when booking is the price they pay.”

Johanna Hansli, chief sales officer at Havila Voyages, said: “We know that the global situation is currently uncertain and that travel plans can change quickly. That is why we are offering our guests additional security and flexibility with two new guarantees should flights or other circumstances affect their plans.”

Hansli added: “Our aim is to ensure that our guests can start their journey with Havila Voyages as relaxed as possible. We therefore hope that, with these two guarantees, the decision to book will be one they can stand behind – and that they can look forward to their Norwegian coastal adventure with joy and without worry.”
