Abta is to open registrations for its 2026 Travel Convention today (April 15), with an early booking discount of 20% available until Wednesday, May 13.
The event in Funchal, Madeira will take place in partnership with easyJet holidays from October 12-14 and will again be moderated by BBC and Sky News broadcaster and travel writer Jonathan Samuels.
Delegates at the 2026 convention will stay at the five-star Savoy Palace hotel, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World which is situated in central Funchal.
In addition to easyJet holidays, other supporters include headline partner Intrepid Travel and returning trade media partner Travel Weekly.
The event is due to kick off on Monday October 12 with several social and community events and excursions before an opening ceremony, with the main business sessions due to take place on October 13 and 14.
The sessions will be focused on four pillars: Our world; Our industry; Your business and Your network.
Full prices are £790 for an Abta member and first partner; £1,045 for an additional partner; £1,015 for a non-member and £395 for a companion. All fees are subject to 22% Portuguese VAT.
