UK sales manager Chris Price has left tour operators Trafalgar and Insight Vacations.
Confirmation of his departure follows that of sales and business development director Ruth Hilton, which was confirmed earlier this week.
It leaves four on-the-road members of the Trafalgar and Insight Vacations UK sales team, who work along an agency support team based in London.
Price joined Trafalgar in January 2016. He had previously held roles at Europcar, Aegean Airlines Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and Virgin Atlantic.
There are no current plans to recruit a replacement for Price’s role at Trafalgar and Insight Vacations although recruitment is underway for a new sales and business development director to replace Hilton.
A spokesman for parent company, The Travel Corporation, said: “We can confirm that Chris Price recently left Trafalgar and Insight Vacations to pursue other opportunities.
“At this moment there are no plans to replace him, but it allows us the opportunity to promote from within when the time is right. The Trafalgar and Insight Vacations UK sales team comprises four regional sales managers on the road and an agency sales support in head office in London, all of whom will be working closely with our agent partners to ensure and maintain the best level of service to the trade, which remains of utmost importance to us.”
