Trafalgar prepares to name river ship in Amsterdam

Guided tour specialist Trafalgar Tours is due to officially make its debut in the river cruise sector with the naming of one of a pair of vessels to sail on European waterways this summer.

The 128-passenger Trafalgar Verity is to be christened in Amsterdam today (Friday) before starting its first season operating on the Rhine.

The ship is one of two chartered from sister company Uniworld under The Travel Corporation (TTC) Tour Brands umbrella alongside Trafalgar Reverie, which is being deployed on the Danube.      

A third ship, the 126-passenger Trafalgar Harmonie, is due to sail in France on the River Seine between Paris and Normandy from April 2027.
