Crystal Serenity is scheduled to undergo a three-week dry-dock refurbishment in October which will add a new pool bar among other upgrades.
The new pool bar will be located on deck 12 mid-ship to enable “greater ease and efficiency of service” from the Seahorse Pool area.
The Aquamarine Class Suites’ living areas and bathrooms will be updated with new furnishings, and public spaces including the Atrium and Crystal Cove will be enhanced with a new marble dance floor, new stage for live entertainment and additional seating.
The Waterside Restaurant, Stardust Club, Seahorse Pool and Marketplace will also gain new furnishings.
Serenity will resume service after the dry-dock on a 14-day transatlantic voyage from Lisbon to Fort Lauderdale before starting the Caribbean season.
Bernie Leypold, senior vice-president of hotel operations at Crystal, said: “Following the successful dry-dock of Crystal Symphony, our work aboard Crystal Serenity is guided first and foremost by the guest experience.
“These enhancements underscore our commitment to creating meaningful, memorable experiences for our guests at every touchpoint, while ensuring that Crystal Serenity continues to feel as welcoming and enriching as the journeys themselves.”
