Celestyal resumed operations from Athens on Friday after both ships in its fleet were stuck in the Middle East.
Celestyal Discovery and Celestyal Journey managed to sail through the Strait of Hormuz on April 17 and 18 to start their repositioning and are now commencing their Mediterranean seasons after sailings in March and April were cancelled.
Discovery will operate the three and four-night Iconic Greek Island itinerary, while Journey will sail the seven-night Idyllic Greece itinerary from Saturday (May 2).

Chief executive Chris Theophilides said in a LinkedIn post that the restart represented “a defining moment” for the company.
Theophilides said: “The safe return of Celestyal Discovery to Athens and the restart of our operations is the result of an extraordinary collective effort across our business and our partners around the world.
“Over recent months, we have navigated a complex and fast-moving situation, always guided by one principle – the safety and wellbeing of our guests and crew.”
He added: “I am immensely proud of how our teams responded, with professionalism, resilience and care at every stage.
“As we begin our Mediterranean season, we do so with renewed focus and confidence. This experience has reinforced the strength of our organisation and the trust placed in us by our guests and partners.”
