Royal Caribbean Seminar at Sea to host 400 new-to-cruise agents

As many as 400 new-to-cruise or new-to-brand agents are to participate in Royal Caribbean International’s second annual Seminar at Sea.

Agents from across Europe and the Middle East will join Oasis of the Seas in Barcelona for a sailing too Italy between May 5-9.

The seminar’s customised training sessions will be available in six languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Norwegian and English.

They will be interactive and include activities, from role-playing to quizzes, that will give agents insight as well as tools and resources they can use to help clients.

EMEA vice president  Ben Bouldin said: “It’s been fantastic to see so many new faces join the travel industry since last year’s Seminar at Sea, and we want to continue to give agents a chance to dive into the memorable holidays we’re known for.

“Gaining firsthand experience and insight into the value of a holiday that truly has something for everyone and any occasion is an incredible sales tool, and coupling this with the in-depth education they’ll receive on board, the Seminar at Sea will set them up for success in crafting the best holidays for their clients.”

The line has also announced plans for a series of training sessions, digital drop-in sessions and competitions that will become available throughout the year via its rewards and learning platform.
