Classic Collection and Iberostar are to stream kids clubs from Tenerife this half-term to support home-schooling parents, including agents.
The tour operator has teamed up with the hotel group’s Iberostar Selection Anthelia property for the initiative and will broadcast its Star Camp Kids’ Club at lunchtimes from Monday to Friday next week.
To reach agents, the sessions will be shown on the Classic Package Holidays and Classic Collection Holidays agents’ Facebook pages.
Activities include keep fit, magic experiments, mini-chef cookery classes, music and painting, and a mini disco. They are aimed at children aged three to eight years old.
Si Morris-Green, director of marketing and agency sales at Classic Collection, said: “We’re living in exceptional times and as far as we know this is an industry first.
“We’re sure that the Star Camp kids’ club will be very much welcomed by our agent partners and their children. It’ll be a welcome reminder of what a family holiday is all about and bring some much-needed Canary Islands’ sun and Iberostar fun into UK homes at half-term.”
The sessions are due to take place as follows:
- Monday, February 15 at 1pm: Children’s Keep Fit
- Tuesday, February 16 at 1pm: Volcano
- Wednesday, February 17 at 1pm: Musical paintbrush (magic experiment)
- Thursday, February 18 at 1pm: Mini chef cooking class
- Friday, February 19 at 1pm: Mini-disco
The event is open to all of Classic’s travel agent partners.
