Two Gary Barlow shows confirmed for P&O Cruises’ Iona

Gary Barlow is to perform two charity shows on board P&O Cruises ship Iona.

The Take That star has been confirmed on 14-night cruises from Southampton departing on September 21 and October 5.

Passengers wanting to be in with a chance of securing a seat in the Headliners Theatre will buy raffle tickets on board for £10, with proceeds from ticket sales donated to Teenage Cancer Trust and Child Bereavement UK.

The line pointed out that Barlow will not travel for the duration of each cruise and his travel dates “may be subject to change without notice”.

The singer, who staged sell-out shows on Iona in 2022 and 2023, said: “I’m so proud to be P&O Cruises’ music director and I can’t wait to be back onboard Iona to put on two more nights of exclusive performances for guests.

“There’s something magical about sharing my passion for music with the guests onboard whilst fundraising for two incredible charities.”

Take That will hit the road for a world tour next month, playing across the UK and Europe, before heading to Australia and South Africa, later this year.
