Ambassador agrees partnership deal with London Stadium

Ambassador Cruise line has agreed a multi-year deal with London Stadium that will see the cruise operator promoted at the venue’s sporting, musical and cultural events.

The 66,000-seater stadium – home to West Ham Football Club – is located around 22.5 miles from the line’s home port of Tilbury in Essex.

Ambassador currently has one ship in its fleet and a second vessel – Ambition – is due to enter service in May.

Gordon Nardini, the line’s chief marketing officer, said: “We are delighted to be named official partner of London Stadium, the iconic east London venue located a short distance from our home port of London Tilbury.

“As an up-and-coming, premium-value cruise line, the partnership offers us the perfect platform to showcase our brand to the many millions of people that pass through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park every year.”

He added: “Ambassador Cruise Line shares the same values and community spirit as the London Stadium, and we look forward to working with them to support growth in the East End while providing exclusive offers and discounts to their members, fans and our fellow partners.”

Graham Gilmore, chief executive of London Stadium, said: “We pride ourselves on being at the heart of the community here in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, while delivering incredible moments for all those that attend our events.

“This partnership mirrors these values; locally based, with a global reach, providing special memories for their guests.”
