Aer Lingus adds capacity to Manchester-Orlando service

Aer Lingus has added extra flights to its service from Manchester to Orlando this winter, meaning four departures a week will operate during the school Christmas holidays.

The additional flight will operate between December 18, 2024, and January 8, 2025, including on Christmas Day.

Aer Lingus chief customer officer Susanne Carberry said the extra capacity during the school holiday would help to “make more dreams come true”.

She added: “The extra flights to Orlando will complement our existing transatlantic network which continues to prove popular with customers in the north of England.”

Aer Lingus uses Airbus A330 aircraft for its transatlantic services from Manchester to Orlando, New York JFK and Barbados.

Orlando’s attractions include Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Studios.
