Online cruise agency Cruise Nation to open an interactive shop in Wales

Online cruise agency Cruise Nation is to open an interactive shop in Wales.

The shop will be based at Cruise Nation’s new office in Swansea and open its doors in 2017, with a final date to be confirmed.

The business has also announced new partnerships with Wendy Wu, Cruise & Maritime Voyages, Cruising Excursions, Do Something Different and Holiday Taxis. A dedicated excursion and transfers team made up of three people is being created to support the new ties.

Wendy Wu Tours will be incorporated into Cruise Nation’s Smart Packages and will be available to guests travelling with Celebrity Cruises or on Royal Caribbean’s new ship Ovation of the Seas from January 2017.

The plans were unveiled at the company’s ‘History in the Making’ launch event on November 22, where it was also revealed in-resort representatives for excursions and transfers and a dedicated online TV channel will be rolled out. It follows the announcement that Cruise Nation is to set up its own homeworking division headed up by Michelle Martin having previously been head of the homeworking division at Hays Travel.

Managing director of Cruise Nation, Phil Evans, said: “2016 has been an exciting year for us at Cruise Nation and we’ve expanded rapidly to meet the huge customer demand.

“We’d like to thank everyone who has been part of our success so far and are looking forward to welcoming more new team members, homeworkers and partners as we move into 2017.”
