Vietnam Airlines is to raise frequency from Heathrow to a daily service next week.

An additional fight to Hanoi on Thursdays will be added from June 23.

This will give the SkyTeam alliance member airline four flights a week to Hanoi and three a week to Ho Chi Minh City from London.

The increased service follows the introduction of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on all UK routes and new livery, corporate identity and brand image in September 2015.

The flights are scheduled to offer onward connections to more than 40 destinations in Asia, including 23 in Vietnam and Indochina as well as China, Japan and Taiwan.

Return fares from Heathrow to Ho Chi Minh City start at £395 per person, including taxes.
