Technology big guns lined up for TTE 2016

This year’s Travel Technology Europe (TTE) trade show in London will feature more than 100 of the sector’s biggest names as exhibitors and sponsors.

The 13th annual edition of TTE will feature Codegen, Comtec, Open Destinations, Sabre and Zolv, alongside smaller, more niche providers.

GDS and global technology giant Sabre also returns as a sponsor, alongside Sitecore, the Advantage Travel Partnership, Comtec, Dolphin Dynamics and SDL.

Experts will demonstrate innovative technology covering payments, booking and reservations, customer loyalty, e-commerce and marketing.

David Chapple, TTE event director, said: “This year’s TTE features content from the largest and most-established brands in the travel technology sector, and some of the most innovative disrupters and specialists.

“Attendees will learn how to navigate the ever-changing technology space, and find the right experts – large or small, established or new – to meet their individual business needs.”

The show has also beefed up its sessions on digital marketing to meet demand from visitors.  A third of attendees last year were interested in advice on how to adapt their marketing campaigns to meet trends.

This year, the two-day show will put on a stream of conference sessions under the ‘Promote’ heading supported by Econsultancy and Marketing Week.

Leading experts from the travel and hospitality industry will deliver seven seminars that tackle the crucial role having the right marketing solutions can play.

Also new for 2016, attendees are being offered independent marketing advice in a clinic being run by Econsultancy.

Travolution, Travel Weekly’s digital-travel publication and TTE media partner, will launch its 2016 Innovation Report at TTE.

Sponsored by Criteo and Intent Media, and in association with TTE, the report analyses government data on technology spend in travel.

In a session at 2.30pm on February 24, the key findings, including a surprise and significant upturn in spending in 2015, will be made public for the first time and debated by experts.

This year’s TTE marks the start of year-long celebrations to mark Travolution’s 10th birthday.

Travel Technology Europe takes place on February 24-25 at London’s Olympia Exhibition Centre. To find out more and to attend, register for free at traveltechnologyeurope.com
