The travel industry’s favourite suppliers have been honoured at the Travel Weekly Globe Travel Awards in London.

The awards are voted for entirely by UK travel agents, with additional consumer awards voted for by readers of Mail Brands UK.

The event, at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, was hosted by Dame Edna Everage and Travel Weekly editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley.

Journalist and television personality Piers Morgan presented the Consumer Awards, while entertainment was provided by performers including X-Factor winner Louisa Johnson.

Big winners on the night included Attraction World, which walked away with three Globe awards, and Kuoni and Emirates which scooped two apiece.
