Carnival Cruise Line unveils its largest UK ship visit programme

Carnival Cruise Line will host more travel agents than ever before as part of its 2024 ship visit programme in the UK.

The line is offering 350 trade spaces to visit the 2,124-passenger Carnival Legend over the course of seven events.

They will take place in Dover (June 28), Liverpool (July 9), Edinburgh (July 30), Liverpool (August 5), Greenock/Glasgow (August 7), Liverpool (August 14) and Belfast (August 17).

Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the ship, with lunch at the Lido featuring a selection of wine, beer and soft drinks.

The programme has been launched to mark Global Travel Advisor Day on Wednesday (May 1).

Iain Baillie, international sales vice-president at Carnival Cruise Line, said: “Travel agents are the cornerstone of our industry and we are committed to supporting them in every possible way.

“This ship visit programme is a celebration of our partnership and our goal is to provide an educational and enjoyable experience, with informative sessions and warm hospitality.”

Carnival Legend is sailing out of Dover from June-August on a series of nine-day round Britain and western Mediterranean departures.
