Swartz, who became group president of Princess Cruises and Carnival Australia in 2016, will also oversee Holland America Princess Alaska Tours and inter-group operations in her new role.
The cruise giant also announced that Stein Kruse, formerly group chief executive of Holland America Group and Carnival UK, will take on a new role as senior advisor to chairman and chief executive Arnold Donald.
