Exodus launches new adventures from Finland to Japan

Exodus Travels has added 37 new adventure tours for 2020, offering destinations as diverse as Finland, Japan, Jordan and Israel.

A new Snowshoeing and Northern Lights trip offers the chance to explore the Oulanka National Park in Finland.

During the day, guests on snowshoes can follow animal tracks in the Finnish Taiga forests, and learn about Arctic wilderness bushcraft skills with local experts.

Five nights will be spent in a remote, traditional logging lodge with no light pollution, increasing the chances to see the Aurora Borealis.

To maximise potential sightings, two nights are spent near the Russian border in a remote former hunting cabin.

It costs from £1,399 in January 2020 departure including return flights, seven nights’ full board accommodation, activities, Arctic equipment and local tour leaders.

Also new is a seven-night Fat Biking in Finland tour, from £1,799, including flights and seven nights’ full-board accommodation.

Another new cycling tour is in the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan, costing from £5,149 for eight days and including flights.

There are two new tours featuring Japan, including the eight-day Highlights of Japan holiday, from £4,199 including flights.

The 15-day Wild Kamchatka with the Kuril Islands tour costs from £13,930, not including flights, and visits Japan, Russia and South Korea.

It offers the chance to see colonies of fur seals, Stellar sea lions, tufted puffins, sea otters and whales.

A new 11-day tour in the Middle East – Jordan and Israel Discovery – costs from £2,099 including flights.

Highlights include Mount Nebo, Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerusalem, Bethlehem and Tel Aviv.
