Coach holiday specialist Shearings Holidays has more than 90 new tours in its Great Britain & Ireland escorted tours brochure for spring and summer 2020.
The programme is the operator’s biggest yet and features two fresh holiday types: Experience Breaks and Walking Breaks.
Experience Breaks offer clients the chance to try activities such as hot air ballooning in Sussex; whale-watching in Scotland; or the world’s fastest zip wire, at Zip World in Llandudno.
A five-day Eastbourne & Hot Air Balloon break costs from £419 and includes a hot air balloon trip, coach travel and hotel accommodation.
The self-guided Walking Breaks visit places such as Ben Nevis, Mount Snowdon, Lake District and Isle of Wight.
The Windermere Walking break costs from £289, offering self-guided walks in the Lake District. It includes four nights’ half-board accommodation, three packed lunches and coach travel.
Jane Atkins, Shearings Holidays’ managing director, said: “2020 is all about choice and flexibility. We recognise that everyone does not necessarily want to do the same thing while away and therefore we are allowing customers to choose different options.
“Our experience and walking breaks are a perfect example – these are designed for the young at heart. More than ever, holiday choices are now influenced by mind-set, not age. At many of our hotels we can now offer a range of alternative breaks for those who want to do something a little different.
“We offer everything that customers would expect from a coach operator such as convenience and hand-holding, but this is now coupled with incredible choice of holiday type – one size no longer fits all, there really is something for everyone.
“Agents have a huge opportunity to promote the trust and expertise of the Shearings brand combined with some amazing experiences and tours that customers might not expect.”
Three editions of the brochure have been created – for the north, south and West Country – and the agent toolkit has been updated with new posters, images, social media graphics and window cards.
