Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy is to speak at the Hays Travel Independence Group’s 2019 conference, which will be held in Turkey.
The event will take place from October 16 to October 19 at Rixos Sungate in the resort of Kemer.
It’s theme is ‘when the trading gets tough, the tough get going’.
Travel Weekly’s editor-in-chief Lucy Huxley is moderator. Two more guest speakers and an IG member speaker will be confirmed at a later date.
The Independence Group is a division of Hays Travel which provides the tools and business support for independent travel agencies, from high street miniples to homeworkers and call centres, to run their businesses.
There are more than 100 members of the Independence Group, with more than 220 branches between them. Hays Travel now has 180 high street shops of its own.
