Senior business director, Mark Mitchell, has left Affinion International Travel “to pursue other opportunities”.
Having joined from Tui in 2008, Mitchell was part of the team which set up Affinion and has progressed through the organisation to his most recent role as senior business director.
Mitchell said: “I’ve enjoyed over 10 great years with AITL, building great partnerships with our amazing travel suppliers. But the time is right to explore other opportunities and I am excited at the prospect. I leave behind a great team of people and I wish them all continued success.”
Affinion International Travel vice president, Karen Wheeler, said: “Mark has been a passionate supporter of Affinion International Travel during his time at the company and I’d like to personally thank him for his dedication and achievements during his time here. We wish him all the best as he moves on to other opportunities.
“I am sad to see him leave but am sure his legacy will remain in terms of the satisfaction that he and the team have brought to our clients and their customers.”
Wheeler will take over the directorship for the UK and Ireland.
