Hoseasons offers new Go Active lodge resort

A new multi-million pound luxury lodge resort in Norfolk will be available for agents to book through Hoseasons.

Norfolk Woods Resort & Spa near King’s Lynn will include 80 lodges, many with hot tubs, when it opens in January.

The resort becomes part of the Go Active portfolio at Hoseasons.

It will be the fifth Go Active park for owner Darwin Escapes, following Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa, Piran Meadows, Talacre Beach and Sandymouth Holiday Resort.

The site includes an outdoor all weather multi-sports court, bar and restaurant, Costa Coffee, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room, gym, outdoor adventure play area, outdoor splash zone and convenience store.

Prices for a family of four for a low season short break start at £229.

Hoseasons is also offering 10% discounts for 2019 holidays made before January 1 on any dates and accommodation.

The operator’s property and portfolio director Mark Warnes said: “We’re confident that this new addition to the Go Active portfolio at Hoseasons will become a popular choice for holidaymakers.

“It’s set to be a great crowd-pleaser for agents looking to book luxury accommodation for both families and couples within a highly desirable corner of the east of England.”

“Norfolk is in one of our top five holiday hot-spots here in the UK, and a popular location for staycations.

“Last summer we saw an unprecedented surge in demand for late breaks prompted by the prolonged good weather plus a demand for Hoseasons active holidays were up 10%.

“We have absolute confidence that with the combination of Norfolk Woods’ desirable location, luxurious offering, and with the added lure of Go Active activities, the property will attract droves of locals and nationwide visitors this coming year.”

Darwin Escapes head of group yield and guest experience Simon Cooper said: “We’ve been in a successful and thriving working relationship with Hoseasons for a number of years now, which is demonstrated by the opening of this, our 19th park in partnership with the domestic self-catering company.

“We have many returning loyal customers who book with us every year and we’re thrilled with Hoseasons’ platform which showcases our holidays in the best way possible to potential guests.”

He added: “Norfolk Woods is all about mixing action and relaxation. There’s been no expense spared when it comes to the finer details in the accommodation such as fully equipped kitchens, comfortable living areas, outdoor decking and seating area, right down to the quality of mattresses, to ensure the best night sleep possible in peaceful countryside.”
