Woodbridge-Cox takes helm at travel representation and PR firm

Chris Woodbridge-Cox is taking over as managing director of representation and public relations agency kbc.

He takes up the role from current chief executive and owner Kate Burgess-Craddy, who becomes chairman.

Woodbridge-Cox’s industry career spans Club Med, Virgin and Unijet, where he and Burgess-Craddy first worked together in the mid-1990s.

He was most recently managing director at ski specialist operator Peak Retreats.

Woodbridge-Cox said: “I’m both delighted and excited to be joining kbc, which has, over the past 20 years, rightly earned its reputation as a leading travel PR and representation company.

“I’m inheriting a strong, experienced and well respected team and look forward to continuing the great work achieved to date.”

Burgess-Craddy added: “While we have a deserved reputation in the North America sector, Chris will bring a new perspective to the business.

“His background in the short haul sector perfectly complements our existing strengths in the USA and Canada and I am truly delighted he has chosen kbc as his next move.”

The firm’s retained and project clients include Travel Alberta, Destination British Columbia, Capital Region USA, the Florida Keys & Key West, Explore Georgia, the Great American West, the Leisure Pass Group, Loews Hotels, Tourmappers, the US Travel Association, Utah Office of Tourism and Virginia Tourism Corporation.
