Ryanair’s O’Leary nets €33m in share sale

Ryanair chief executive Michael O’Leary has netted €33 million by selling two million shares in the budget carrier.

The shares were sold at a price of €16.49 each, according to a stock market filing.

The sell-off was made last week and came a year after O’Leary offloaded four million shares in the airline.

He remains the airline’s third largest shareholder with a 3.8% stake.

Ryanair’s annual profits rose by 10% to €1.45 billion in the year to March 31.
