Chris Galanty has been appointed executive general manager of Flight Centre South Africa.
The new position is in addition to his existing role as executive general manager of the UK business. Galanty will lead the strategic direction and operations of both regions reporting directly into founder Graham Turner.
Galanty started his career 12 years ago as an in-store travel consultant.
“My focus will be on expanding the South Africa and UK businesses by taking advantage of the similarities in the two markets and sharing best practice,” he said.
