Sarah Weetman is to rejoin escorted touring operators Travelsphere and Just You as head of trade sales after an 18 month gap.
Weetman starts in the role on January 3, 2018. The operators are were bought by G Adventures in January this year following the collapse of former parent company All Leisure Holidays and form part of the group’s UK touring arm G Touring.
The news follows Weetman’s departure from Royal Caribbean International last month as head of retail by mutual agreement.
Prior to that Weetman was head of trade sales for All Leisure Holidays from December 2012 until June 2016. She was responsible for Travelsphere, Just You and the group’s cruise lines Voyages of Discovery, Swan Hellenic and Hebridean Island Cruises.
In the newly-created role at G Touring, Weetman will be responsible for all trade relationships for the escorted touring brands.
The brands recently announced a major ‘repositioning’ which will make travel agents significantly more central to the business. A new logo, website and radically redesigned brochure have been launched.

Sarah will be building on our strong relationships in the trade and also forming new trade partnerships for both brands.
“In September when we launched Travelsphere’s new look we said that the trade would be a key focus for us, the appointment of Sarah underlines that commitment.”

Travelsphere offers tours to more than 60 destinations worldwide, while Just You specialises in singles holidays.
