MSC Cruises’ new flagship MSC Seaside has set sail to its new home in Miami from the Italian port Trieste.

MSC Seaside, the line’s 14th ship, will arrive on December 21 in Port Miami where it will officially be named in a ceremony attended by godmother Sophia Loren.

Two days later MSC Seaside will begin seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.

The ship is a new prototype designed to bring guests closer to the sea and sun and mirrors a beach condo style.

Two glass-floored catwalks and a 40m high ‘Bridge of Sighs’ also feature.
