New routes to Toronto from Stansted and Birmingham

Primera Air has announced two new routes to Toronto, from its bases at Stansted and Birmingham airports.

The year-round services will start from May, with three flights per week each from Birmingham and Stansted.

The lowcost  airline, based in Denmark and Latvia, is also to introduce a four times weekly service from Paris.

“Yet again, we are very proud to announce our new direct routes from our Europe bases to Canada,” said president and chairman Andri M Ingolfsson.

Operated on new Airbus321NEOs, Ingolfsson said the airline will be offering a “low-fare/high quality product and service concept, that will be perfect both for leisure and business travelers.”

Flights from Stansted will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and from Birmingham on the same days. The four weekly flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle will depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Daily flights to New York and four weekly flights to Boston from all three of the bases were announced by Primera earlier this summer.

Primera Air operates flights to more than 70 airports in Europe.
