Eurotunnel’s Le Shuttle passenger service through the Channel Tunnel set new traffic record this summer.
Passenger vehicle traffic grew by 3% in August to 361,902 over the same month last year.
This enabled the company to claim a new traffic records for the Le Shuttle passenger service with almost 564,000 vehicles carried over the period between July 17 and September 3.
However, Le Shuttle passenger traffic has decreased by 2% since January with 1.8 million vehicles transported.
