Hays Travel has forged a partnership to push sales of Celestyal Cruises itineraries.
The agency chain will package cruises with transport options and ground arrangements from the UK.
The Greek line expects to capture a wider UK audience and meet increasing demand from travel agents to sell its cruises which range from six different three to seven-day Aegean sailings and a seven-day Cuba cruise.
Celestyal Cruises operates five mid-sized vessels offering authentic Greek and Cuban experiences both on and off the ships.
Agent incentives and training on Celestyal Cruises are planned and due to be announced by Hays in the coming months.
Hays Travel group head of commercial, Jonathon Woodall, said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be able to announce that Hays Travel is the only UK high street agent in partnership with Celestyal Cruises.
“The product will be rolled out to all of our retail agents and homeworkers, as well as Hays Travel Independence Group members.
“Cruise is a big focus for us as a group and we will be fully supporting Celestyal Cruises’ UK expansion plans.
“Celestyal will also be made available through Hays Tour Operating, giving other independent agents across the UK the opportunity to offer these cruises to their customers.”
Celestyal Cruises chief executive, Kyriakos Anastassiadis, said: “This partnership marks an exciting step in the continuing development of our UK sales strategy.
“Hays is a market leader with a strong specialisation in cruising – we’re confident that together we will generate strong sales.”
