Honeymoon Dreams acquires new head office

Luxury travel agency Honeymoon Dreams has acquired a new head office to handle future expansion.

The company also plans to open the UK’s first dedicated Honeymoon Shop in London and expand a network of pop up concessions in shopping centres throughout the UK over the next year.

The new base in Birmingham was purchased for more than £250,000 and is undergoing a £50,000 refurbishment.

It will be able to accommodate workspace for up to 50 staff, with expansion of sales, marketing, accounts, operations and aftersales departments.

The building will house all Honeymoon Dreams staff including its call-centre team.

The office is due to be ready for the company to move into in late August, featuring what is being claimed as the UK’s first dedicated ‘honeymoon suite’ – a dedicated area for clients to discuss their honeymoon requirements.

The overall space will be converting to a wireless working environment to enable easy screen sharing and collaboration, and a clutter-free space.

It is located closer to the centre of Birmingham than the company’s existing base. The move to a more central location with better public transport links will help in a recruitment drive.

Director, Lakh Hayer, said: “We have done fantastically well over the past 12 months or so and the new office is significant investment that we hope will accelerate our growth even further.

“We have consulted with staff to come up with a modern working environment that everyone will feel happy with and provides us with room to grow.

“We have lots of big plans for the next stage in our development and are looking forward to what the future holds.”
