Fifty prizes announced for Chloe Rutherford fundraising raffle

Westoe Travel has received more than 50 prizes for its raffle to raise money for the families of agent apprentice Chloe Rutherford and her boyfriend Liam Curry who were killed in the Manchester bombing.

The prizes include flights, holidays and shopping vouchers which will be drawn on August 31.

There will also be a separate auction at the same time to win a table for ten at Travel Weekly’s Northern Ball.

Travel agency apprentice Chloe, 17, and boyfriend Liam, 19, were among 22 people killed after an Ariana Grande concert on May 22.

More than £3,000 has been raised on a crowdfunding page to support their families.

Graeme Brett of Westoe Travel said: “We have had amazing support and we now have over 50 prizes.

“Travel Weekly has made an amazing offer by donating a table for ten people at the Northern Ball, worth £2,268, so this is a great chance for agents and operators to attend this event and support this fantastic cause.”

Agents can buy raffle tickets and make bids for the auction by emailing sales@westoetravel.co.uk.

Design company, Manchester Graphics, has printed 100 posters free of charge for the event and Travel Weekly and Tipto has been selling tickets on behalf of Westoe at their most recent roadshows in the north east.

Westoe Travel has also set up a dedicated bank account for people to set-up a bank transfer to buy raffle tickets.
