Royal Caribbean International has appointed Michelle Nagy as its regional sales manager for Scotland.
Nagy joins Royal Caribbean from L’Oreal where she held the position of account manager in Scotland. She also previously worked with Virgin Atlantic and Rentokil Initial Group.
Michelle will report into Sarah Weetman, head of retail, UK & Ireland and will be responsible for growing trade partnerships in the region.
Weetman said: “We’re excited to welcome Michelle to our UK sales team this year.
“Michelle brings with her a wealth of fast moving consumer goods experience which will provide valuable insight to her role as RSM for Scotland.
“Scotland is an important focus for us, and as we continue to expand we know that Michelle has a unique skill set required to drive this growth through 2017 and beyond.”
Nagy, who started this week, said: “I’ve always sought out the best when deciding who to work with and when this opportunity arose to join Royal Caribbean, I didn’t need to think twice.
“I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic team and the future looks incredibly exciting as I work with our partners to open up the world to even more guests from Scotland.”
Colin Rillie left his position as Royal Caribbean International’s regional accounts manager in Scotland to join MSC Cruises in October last year.
