Unique Caribbean Holidays Limited, a tour operator representative for Sandals and Beaches Resorts in the UK, has announced its first ever global distribution system deal with Travelport.
The deal comes after Unique Caribbean Holiday Limited (UCHL), the tour operation set up to offer Sandals and Beaches Resorts, announced last month it would work direct with the trade for the first time.
The GDS deal with Travelport will enable agents to compare and select flights to Sandals resorts to sell as packages.
Karl Thompson, managing director at UCHL, said: “We’re delighted to have struck our inaugural GDS partnership with Travelport.
“We are confident that Travelport’s industry-leading technology will help differentiate our Luxury Included packages from competing resorts by providing agents with the comprehensive flight and ancillary options expected by our customers.”
UCHL offers 20 properties in seven countries including Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, St Lucia, Turks & Caicos Islands.
