Kuoni becomes 23rd supplier member of Atas

Kuoni has become the latest operator to join the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas).

The association was set up in April by the leading operators in the touring and adventure sector to raise awareness and drive sales through the trade.

It has a presence online and in print through the Travel Weekly portfolio, and will hold an overnight agent conference in the autumn.

Kuoni head of specialist products Claire Ross said joining Atas would allow the operator to highlight a growing focus on its touring product.

“We’ve invested in creating a small-group worldwide touring programme with a clear position in the market, with new itineraries and experiences so we want to be bolder about stepping up awareness about what we offer,” she said.

“Joining Atas is about working in collaboration with other players in the touring and adventure sector to raise the profile and to continually improve knowledge and understanding about the breadth of what’s available through the trade.

“There’s so much innovation in this area so it’s an excellent initiative and we’re looking forward to being involved.”

The members of Atas are AAT Kings; APT; Back-Roads Touring; Collette; Cosmos; Exodus; G Adventures; Great Rail Journeys; Headwater; Insight Vacations; Intrepid Group; Leger Holidays; Newmarket Holidays; Riviera Travel; Saga Holidays; Shearings Holidays; Tauck; Titan; Trafalgar Tours; Travelsphere and Just You; Trek America and Wendy Wu Tours.
