Andrew Waller, one of the best-known figures in the UK travel management sector, has joined the expanding ATPI Group.
Waller spent more than a decade in senior roles at Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) before leaving last July.
He has joined ATPI as international director of corporate development to support the group’s growth plans and will report direct to chief executive Graham Ramsey at the London head office.
Ramsey said: “Andrew’s strong track record in the industry [means] he is uniquely positioned to support our global expansion.”
Waller has also held a series of positions in the leisure sector, including with the Walt Disney Travel Company, Norwegian Cruise Line, British Airways and Hertz.
The ATPI Group has a network of more than 100 offices worldwide, with operations in corporate travel, shipping and energy, sports and corporate event management.
