Reed & Mackay has taken over Chicago-based travel management company Gray’s Travel Management for an undisclosed sum.
The deal follows London business travel specialist Reed & Mackay attracting a recent round of investment from private equity house Inflexion.
The acquisition will enable Gray’s to benefit from Reed & Mackay’s technology, including an online booking tool, client travel portal, risk management suite and traveller app.
Business travel clients of both companies will benefit from an enhanced service offering through extended global reach, enhanced buying power and deeper local market knowledge.
Reed & Mackay chief executive Fred Stratford said: “Gray’s was a natural fit for Reed & Mackay, as we are two very culturally aligned businesses, with similar approaches to delivering service excellence to our clients.
“We are delighted to welcome the Gray’s team to Reed & Mackay and look forward to working together to deliver an unrivalled travel experience to all of our clients.”
