SHG brings in former agent to bolster on the road trade team

Former agent Dane Sheridan has joined Specialist Holidays Group (SHG) as it bolsters its trade team.

As business development executive, he will focus on building relationships with agents across the Midlands and north, helping to grow SHG’s trade footprint and business across the American Holidays, Citalia and Sovereign brands.

Sheridan joins with more than 12 years’ trade experience, having held roles including travel advisor, assistant manager and store manager with brands such as Thomas Cook, Hays Travel and Tui.

SHG is engaging with new to brand agents as well as focusing on the homeworker network as “significant growth drivers” for the business.

Sheridan said: “I’m really excited to be joining Specialist Holidays Group and working with three such well-established and respected brands.

“Having worked with these brands as an agent for a number of years, I’ve seen first-hand the quality of product and support they offer to the trade.

“I’m looking forward to getting out on the road, meeting agent partners across the Midlands and the north to building strong relationships, as well as supporting them in driving sales and making the most of everything SHG has to offer.”
