Oliver’s Travels has partnered with Travel Counsellors as it looks to make villa holidays “more accessible to agents”.
The specialist operator said the collaboration will “help agents sell villas with greater ease” and aim to “increase bookings through dedicated support, expertise and training”.
It reported “strong initial engagement” from the trade in the early stages of the tie-in.
Fern Higgins, distribution and travel advisor manager at Oliver’s Travels, said: “We’ve been incredibly encouraged by the response from the Travel Counsellors network.
“In just the first week, we’ve seen over 200 agents sign up and more than £110,000 in booking intent, which really demonstrates the appetite for high-quality villa product within this community.”
Higgins added the company “sees huge potential to grow together and make Oliver’s Travels a go-to villa partner for Travel Counsellors globally”.
She explained the partnership was forged in response to “evolving traveller behaviours” as she pointed to increased demand for “bespoke, multi-generational and high-value travel”.
Carol Hooley, retail partner manager at Travel Counsellors, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Oliver’s Travels to expand our villa offering for customers.
“Their curated portfolio and expertise in this space make them a strong fit for our personalised approach to travel planning.
“The early response from our travel counsellors has been very positive, and we’re excited about the opportunities this partnership creates for our business owners to deliver even more exceptional holiday experiences for their clients.”
