US TMC Atlas Travel opens London base

The office is being established to offer business travel services to a growing number of clients who have employees in the UK and other parts of Europe.

The new Atlas Travel & Technology (ATTG) division in London will be managed by general manager Simon Brown, who has 30 years experience in the travel industry.

Atlas president and chief executive Elaine Osgood said: “We have been consolidating global data for our clients for many years through our operation in the United States.

“However, the number of US businesses we serve who have UK-based travellers is growing dramatically and this really drove the decision to open a London office.”

The company’s chief operations officer Lea Cahill added: “We are excited about this expansion and know it will make a big difference for clients who have grown with Atlas Travel and are looking for more consistent support overseas.”
