EuroParcs becomes EuroResorts and woos UK agents

EuroParcs, a privately-owned holiday company that has sold self-catering holiday park breaks in Europe for more than 20 years, is rebranding as EuroResorts.

The Bristol-based company also aims to work with more UK travel agents and increase the number of destinations it offers from 10 to 15.

Along with the new name, it has a new logo and website “to emphasise the premium quality” of self-catering holiday resorts in Spain, Italy and France.

Rod Jones, EuroResorts director, said: “We already work with 10 independent agents across the UK, and we’re looking to double this number over the next 12 months. We provide all agents with training on the locations we offer, plus marketing support, competitive commission levels and we are planning fam trips in the latter part of 2022 and through the first half of 2023.

“There has been a huge increase in investment at self-catering holiday parks over the past 15 years, which has seen them improve facilities and infrastructure for a superb customer experience.

“It’s becoming normal for the premium parks that we operate on to offer options such as spas, splash zones and waterparks, plus indoor pools for low-season holidays.

“Mobile home accommodation has come on in leaps and bounds too, with more living space, large terraces with pergolas and hot tubs increasingly common.

“Forget the European campsites and caravan parks that many of us remember from our childhood.

“The experience today is on a par with the best hotels, and our rebrand to EuroResorts reflects this step up in quality and reinforces the high standard of the holidays we offer.”

He added: “As the travel sector emerges from the pandemic, we think that families will demand more from their holidays, and self-catering resorts that can provide outstanding accommodation, a wide variety of activities and quality facilities, all at a great price, will see significant growth in popularity.

“As an internet-based company that has invested heavily in technology to streamline our efficiencies, we can offer prices that are up to 30% cheaper than competitors at the same sites and in the same accommodation.

“Travel agents will play a key role in helping us reach new audiences. In return, we can offer them direct links into our live availability or their own exclusive allocations.

“Thanks to long seasons and a great array of off-season facilities at the resorts we work with, we are seeing a lot of interest in autumn and winter holidays to sunnier climes.

“For example, a 10-night stay at La Torre Del Sol on the Costa Dorada in Spain, starting October 1, costs from £450 based on up to six sharing and Excelle holiday home with jacuzzi. Ferries or flights are extra.”
