Destinology beefs up management team with three appointments

Luxury online travel firm Destinology has beefed up its senior management team with three appointments.

Former On the Beach brand manager Emily Whitehouse joins as head of marketing.

Ex-Ski Lifts commercial director Simon Holmes takes on the role of marketing and customer journey general manager.

Georgina Smith moves from senior product executive at Prestbury Travel to become senior destination development executive.

Managing director Ryan Johnston said: “We have an incredible leadership team already and we will continue to invest in exceptional talent whenever we have the opportunity.

“We’ve already made significant investments into our infrastructure, technology, people and we have no intention of slowing down.”

HR director Emma Kingsley added: “These appointments are an important milestone for Destinology; we’re so excited to have more talent of this calibre join our management team and we know they will help us deliver our goals over the coming years.”

Bolton-based Destinology was acquired from Saga by Stewart Travel owner Brooklyn Travel Holdings in autumn 2020.

Johnston then joined after almost ten years at World Travel Holdings.
