TProfile joins Atas as associate member

Travel technology specialist TProfile has joined the Association of Touring and Adventure Suppliers (Atas) as an associate member to promote its solutions for agents and operators.

Bhav Taylor, head of sales, said the company wants to work closer with other Atas members to help them to deliver rich content and engage more with their customers.

“Our business model is based on providing travel agents and tour operators with SAAS [software as a service] applications that will enhance their operation and deliver exceptional customer experience,” she said.

“Consumers want expert knowledge when researching and booking what can sometimes be complex itineraries.

“TProfile simplifies this process and provides multiple sources of rich content.”

She said TProfile can help agents create high-quality quotes in less time – which can boost conversion rates – and use content such as destination images and video footage.

Also, customer management tools can provide a full history for each enquiry.

Taylor highlighted how the TProfile system is paperless, which is more sustainable, speeds up engagement and avoids the need to print hundreds of pages of itineraries.

“During the pandemic, we were busier than ever as businesses navigated through the most difficult period any of us had experienced,” she added.

“We used that time to consult with existing and new customers to really understand what came next on their customer experience journey.

“Aside from our CRM, quotes, and documentation we have seen an increase in website developments as agents use their sites more and more as a shop window.”

The company will soon launch an app which will help agents to store useful information about future travel plans, dietary requirements and personal likes and dislikes – all in one place.

Taylor said TProfile is also keen to engage with the touring and adventure travel sector as it was the fastest growing sector market before Covid – and now, post-pandemic, even more consumers are turning to agents for advice.

“We have seen an increase in agents wanting to improve how they communicate with their customers in a more efficient manner,” she added.

“The TProfile solution is a flexible tool allowing agents to work from anywhere: at home, the office and overseas.”

Claire Brighton, account director at Atas, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome TProfile to Atas as the firm’s innovative software can really help our members to improve their personalised customer communications and content.

“They are eager to build their relationship with touring and adventure sector as they know how it is offers so many opportunities.”
