National Holidays adds extra tours for 2022

National Holidays has added a range of extra tours and more capacity on popular family products in its 2022 Britain and Ireland brochure.

The brochure features holidays by coach between March and October and features an early booking offer for bookings by travel agents made by February 13. This offers £10 off per person for three- and four-day breaks and £20 off for breaks of five days or more.

New for this year is a break to Yorkshire Wildlife Park after hours at sunset, a five-day holiday in Northumberland and a trip including tickets to the new Bedknobs & Broomsticks musical.

Extra capacity has also been added this year on core products, especially for families. A greater choice of dates and more availability are being offered to key attractions such as the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, Legoland Windsor and Cadbury World.

Claire Dutton, trade sales manager, said: “Last year was a really strong year for sales through agents and 2022 is already looking like it will be even better.

“I have no doubt holidays in the UK will remain a popular choice and we’ve increased our capacity this year to ensure agents have as much product and availability as possible to meet demand.”

The new two-day Sunset Safari & York Summer Special leads in at £109 per adult and £98.10 per child, including return coach travel and one night’s bed and breakfast accommodation, park admission and a visit to York.

With departures in July and August from selected pick-up points in Yorkshire, the northeast and the northwest, it offers the chance to see animals such as polar bears, giraffes, lions, tigers and giant offers at Yorkshire Wildlife Park after hours as the sun goes down.

Also new is the five-day Northumberland Explorer coach break from £279, which includes World Heritage Site Hadrian’s Wall and Alnwick Castle, which featured as Hogwarts in some of the Harry Potter films. Prices include return coach travel, four nights’ accommodation with breakfast and dinner, with departures between April and October.

The two-day coach break Bedknobs & Broomsticks The Musical & Cadbury World is priced from £169 per adult and £152.10 per child and includes a matinee performance of the new musical at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre and admission to Cadbury World. The trip is on April 9 from pick up points in Yorkshire and the northeast.

In total, 14 different versions of the brochure have been produced, tailored to local areas and focused on key tours available in the operator’s key departure regions in the northeast, northwest, Yorkshire and the Midlands.

The brochure is in sections, based on the length of the trip or the theme, such as Family Fun, National Sports and Special Events.
