Inspire Group appoints BDM to support homeworking division

Inspire Group has appointed Stacy Wilson as business development manager.

Wilson has been tasked with providing additional support to the company’s homeworking division, Independent Travel Associates (ITA).

She has joined the company from The Travel Network Group where she held the role of retail manager at a Worldchoice-owned store.

Wilson’s appointment was announced at Inspire Group’s conference which is being held at Reuben’s Retreat.

Managing director Lisa Henning said the ITA division is “growing at pace”, and an additional business development manager was required to offer extra support and guidance to agents new to homeworking.

“On the back of strong growth for this division last year, this appointment of a second BDM for our homeworking business further underpins our strategy to invest in the growth of our homeworking business,” said Henning.

“When we were recruiting for the position, we knew we wanted someone with a proven track record in travel retailing to work alongside our new to travel ITAs, and in Stacey we have achieved all that and more.

“Stacey has an impressive background of working in a busy and highly successful retail environment and all the skills needed to help train, guide and support our new to travel homeworkers during the early stages of building their businesses, after which they will work closely with one of our other BDMs who will provide further support and guidance moving forward.”
