Gold Medal has appointed Deborah Wadhams as head of product, east, from January 17.
Wadhams rejoins Gold Medal from Destinology, where she spent almost four years as senior product manager with responsibility for the Indian Ocean and Middle East regions.
Prior to that, she was product manager Middle East, Indian Ocean, Africa and Luxury, at Gold Medal where her career in product started in 2006.
Before moving to Destinology, Wadhams spent 12 years with the brand, rising from the role of reservations consultant.
Gold Medal trading director Trisha Birmingham said: “I’m delighted that Deb will be returning to Gold Medal and joining our senior trading team, where she will lead our team of expert destination managers across our portfolio of east destinations.
“She’s well-known and highly-regarded among our key industry suppliers and will bring a wealth of product and commercial knowledge to the team, as well as being a positive leader and passionate about her destinations.”
