Steve Morrish has stepped up to take the newly-created role of group managing director at Imagine Cruising.
He joined the Emirates Group cruise and stay specialist as product and commercial director in February 2019 from Carnival UK where he had worked for 15 years on the P&O Cruises and Cunard brands.
The move sees company chief executive Robin Deller take a more strategic focus, with Morrish looking after the day-to-day operation of the business.
Morrish said: “I am delighted to be starting a new position as group managing director at Imagine Cruising.
“The business and its phenomenal team have shown tremendous resilience and capability to react and pivot during the pandemic.
“I am excited by the plans we have for the future to build on our strengths and maximise our potential.”
In another internal move, Andy Edwards has become events director, reflecting the company’s expansion into events linked to cruise itineraries.
