Princess Cruises stars in latest Susan Calman travel series

Princess Cruises will feature in the new series of Channel 5’s Cruising with Susan Calman, starting on Friday (December 30).

Caribbean Princess stars in the first two episodes of the series, on December 30 and 6 January 6, at 8pm.

The Scottish comedian will be sharing her experiences of a 10-night Canada and New England cruise, sailing from New York to Quebec.

In episode one, she takes a helicopter ride around New York, before boarding Caribbean Princess.

Newport, Rhode Island, is the first port of call, followed by Boston where Calman enjoys a trolleybus tour and a baseball lesson at the home of the Boston Red Sox.

In episode two, the comedian explores ports in Nova Scotia, Canada, visiting Peggy’s Cove in Halifax and spotting wildlife in Saguenay.

Onboard the 3,140-passenger Caribbean Princess, Calman experiences the ‘Ultimate Balcony Breakfast’, mingles with guests on formal night and takes part in the Champagne Waterfall.

Eithne Williamson, Princess Cruises UK and Europe’ vice-president, said: “We are delighted to have Princess Cruises return to Cruising with Susan Calman, after having Regal Princess feature in the first series. We can’t wait for viewers to see the wonderful Susan Calman experience the Princess Difference as she sails onboard Caribbean Princess.

“For UK guests looking to explore this part of the world, Princess Cruises offers the ultimate Canada and New England cruise on Sky Princess, sailing roundtrip from Southampton in 2023 and 2024, with our 31-night itinerary departing September 2024 including overnight stays in both New York City and Québec, a first for Princess Cruises.”
