American Airlines will resume a host of summer services from Europe next month as it increases its seasonal operations by up to 14% year on year.
Flights from eight European cities to the US will resume over the course of April, May and June.
April will see the start of Madrid and Rome services to Charlotte, plus Dublin-Dallas Fort Worth flights.
In May, services will begin between Venice and Philadelphia; Barcelona and Chicago; Athens and New York; Amsterdam and Dallas Fort Worth; and Dublin and Charlotte.
In June, the airline will start flying Paris-Charlotte; Dublin-Chicago; and Athens-Chicago routes.
Kyle Mabry, American’s operations and commercial vice-president for EMEA and APAC, said: “We are thrilled to be carrying even more passengers across the Atlantic this summer, and are happy to be able to cater to the increasing demand for flights to the US from Europe.
“Last summer showed us travel is high on people’s to-do lists, with summer escapes a key highlight each year.
“Throughout this busy period, we’re excited to be able to provide an additional 14% of flying, helping further establish American as a leading US carrier within Europe.”
